The Right Blackjack System for Winning Players
Every blackjack player must have a strategy before sitting down at the tables to gamble. A player who randomly changes their bets and strategy will quickly lose their bankroll as playing this way does nothing to increase winnings and reduce losses.
The Paroli Betting Strategy
Originating from an Italian gambler, this blackjack system has gained much popularity due to the fact that it only increases bets after a win and is constructed to take advantage of winning streaks while staying at the minimum bet when a series of bad hands is encountered. In addition, this system removes a lot of the volatility found in other riskier strategies. To employ this strategy, a player should use his total bankroll to determine the minimum bet. Assuming that the player has established $20 as the minimum bet, this is the first bet that is made. If he incurs a loss, then this bet is repeated.
If the hand is won, the original $20 plus the winnings of $20 are combined to make a $40 bet. If the $40 bet is lost, the minimum bet is used for the next hand. If the hand is won, the bet is increased again, this time combining the $40 original bet and the $40 in winnings, thus creating a bet of $80. This cycle continues until the player reaches a predetermined goal and starts over from the beginning. This goal should not be too lofty as hoping for a series of ten wins in a row could easily lead to disappointment. A better strategy includes a series of 3-5 wins before the process is repeated.
